You also could buy one of those VoIP phones so you can voice chat on the computer and relive the joy of slamming it down during mid sentence.

I thought about forgoing mobile phones and going that route (I'm not like other girls, notice me grandma!), but since I need the phone as a portable music player and a banking app I decided not to bother.

There are plenty of "landline phones" that work with VoIP or SIM-cards, mostly for office use. I really miss setting up a voice mail/answering machine setup, but thankfully no one calls me anymore out of the blue to need one.

Are there any left where grouping up is mandatory and characters are usually heavily specialized? I really want to play something where can't just solo the game and ignore the other players (while cursing that they are stealing my spawns), but where each player has their own "niche" character that is useful in some more or less unique way.

For example healers being actual healers and not "dps-lite with self sustain". And absolutely no "the optimal way to play the game is to play a solo dps" bullshit. And guilds having more specialist crafters instead of omni-crafters who no-life every profession.

I do not mind dated or 2D graphics or other yank. I do want some players obviously, as little mtx as possible (but I'm fine ignoring it) and the focus being on the "overworld"/actual adventuring instead of being a lobby based dungeon runner. I love grinding and low exp rates, because I like leveling way more than any endgame. There is no need for voice acting or other fancy stuff like that. I am perfectly happy using my imagination and reading text boxes.

From balls we move to "shaft" just like an elevator moves up and down the shaft. The actual action happening is named "stroking", because it is a well-oiled machine like an engine. After a month or so with my second monitor, I have to point out one thing. It's perfectly fine to have silence. There doesn't have to be always something playing on your computer or trying to maximize the endorphins with the second screen.

I think I will cut down on my twitch stream usage and focus more on having silence regularly to relax.

Not everyone who uses a drawn pfp is white, nor are they hiding anything. I’m not white and I use this because… I like it.

Other people chose theirs because they feel a kinship with the pfp. Other times… It doesn’t matter??? Someone might like the anonymity it offers, or perhaps they feel dysphoria, or maybe they just like the pfp they have.

The idea that your pfp has to be your face is absurd, because only one social media platform has a de facto rule on having your face as the pfp: Facebook, and that makes sense in their logic as they have their Real Identity rule.

There is no Real Identity on the Fediverse. In fact, there isn’t even one on Twitter. For my entire Internet life, the vast majority of forums, social networks, apps, etc never required you to use a face pfp, and it is and was definitely common for people on forums to not use their face as a pfp.

Put simply: use whatever pfp you want. But don’t try to smear people for the fact that their pfp isn’t their face.

My biggest gripe with is the fact can't level up characters or talents just by playing the game. I got so many characters around 50-70 levels and my content is lvl90. So I can't use most of my waifus, because grinding them up to 80-90 is so boring/much work.

Not that big of a deal I suppose. If I'd be a pro player it probably takes only a day or two to max a character, but meh... It's just so repetitive due to having to grind specific bosses/instances.

Hey Linux people, I need your help: 🐧

On my media center PC, I often switch between 60 Hz and 24 Hz refresh rate for perfectly smooth playback. Is there a way in either KDE Plasma (Wayland) or Kodi to switch refresh rates automatically or with some kind of quick widget? I currently use the settings menu every time.

Note: It's a media center PC connected to a TV, so I won't type terminal commands.

Enable both "Adjust display refreshrate" (switches the refresh rate to match the content) and "Sync playback to display" for those rare cases need some extra smoothing (23.976 to 24 or similar if your TV doesn't support every refresh rate).
