@HailsandAles I have two, but honestly it's a surprise even for me which from the huge Pink Floyd catalogue. It's "The Final Cut" and "A Momentary Lapse of Reason". I own the really great ones only on CD.

Does anyone keep a list of weird/uncommon words they come across in books they read (or other media, at that)? I seem to come across strange words and think “hmm, not sure I’ve seen this in a book before” and then kinda sorta wish I could verify that…

@vanessawynn Not exactly, they can be used in spoken German too, but some are not very common. The language changes over time, and spoken language changes faster than written language.

I have many discussions about this with my kids because sometimes they tend to oversimplify the grammar. 😉

Oh cool, ich habe im Google's "irgendwas-geht-nach-dem-Android-update-nicht-mehr" Roulette eine kaputte Bluetoothverbindung bekommen.

Wenn ich Musik abspiele und dann auf eine andere App wechsle, bricht bricht die Verbindung wenige Sekunden später zusammen. Player stoppt aber nicht.

Habe das mit mehreren Bluetooth Geräten unterschiedlichen Alters, verschiedenen Musik-Apps und auf Lautsprecher passiert es nicht.

Was macht eigentlich Google's SW-Qualitätsabteilung den ganzen Tag so?

@TentinQuarantino Ist natürlich Mist mit @thomas' Handy, aber es scheint mir kein generelles Google/Pixel-Problem zu sein. Ich habe beruflich ein Pixel 3a und privat ein 6a und hatte mit beiden bisher überhaupt keinen Ärger. Und das 3a habe ich seit bald 5 Jahren…

My choice is 's self-titled 11th album, released in September.

My Swedish language skills are nonexistent, and I seriously can only guess what the lyrics are about based on my general knowledge about the band. Did not want to ask DeepL or Google, though.

Slowly getting into holiday mood. I had my last working day for this year on Friday, and was quite busy yesterday to catch up with stuff I didn't manage to finish earlier.

Today I spent a few hours hiking through the forest with my wife and baking plenty of cookies with my whole family. 😃

My plan for tomorrow is listening to music and decorating the Christmas tree. Should be feasible.
