#Solarpunk community: please stop using AIs to generate images. Yes, I know there's very few solarpunk visual concepts. Generative AIs are predatory, anti-worker software and on top of that its energy and water consumption is huge (specially since it's a non essential service). Commission an artist, use stock images. Don't make me go fight you.

Friends, neighbours, people of the Fediverse: if you are planning to come to #Spain on holiday, please reconsider it. Drought is being severe, there's water restrictions put in place (in winter! which means that this summer is going to be worse) and the #touristification is getting intense (as in "it's getting difficult to find a place to live in most big cities and we can't get teachers and doctors in tourist traps like Ibiza because there's no way they can put a roof over their heads").

Hello! I'm moving instances and I think it's a good time to write a proper #introduction:
I'm from Valencia, Spain, and I tend to wander a lot between hobbies. These days I'm reading comics and lots of SFF novels; I also play No Man's Sky and FF XIV, and I have a deep love for the silly side of Warhammer 40000.
I'm also interested in a wide variety of stuff from solarpunk to fountain pens.
I've been on mastodon for a while but mainly the big instances, it's the first time I'm on a smaller one.
