A little late getting this one out today, but I like how it turned out (plus cool videos to watch!).
NEW EPISODE: How to Build a Good Anthropocene
Bright Green Futures — a podcast about stories to build a better world — We're lifting up #solarpunk and #hopeful#ClimateFiction stories to build a better world.
Wir suchen eine:n visuelle:n Künstler:in für ein Bildungsprojekt Solarpunk-Stil.

If, like me, you also played the demo, you'll be pleased to know that Synergy's early access adds many more buildings, vegetation, exploration, and decorations. I was surprised to see just how big the research trees had become, with eight branches and around 60 different aspects to research, including new buildings, ways to...
If you haven't yet had a look, check us out now! The book is free as in speech, and free as in beer! And if you like what you see, please rate us, review us, and tell your friends! (or foes!)
It was a pleasure to be a part of the keynote panel at the #Petrocultures2024 conference. I got to share my work with an engaged and insightful audience, and I learned so much from the panels.

"Moreover, when used as a substrate for perovskite solar cells, the transparent bamboo displays the potential to act as a light management layer, leading to a marked efficiency enhancement of 15.29%"
A #solarpunk workshop built around multiple ways to use the sun, including several giant fresnel lenses beaming light down from the observatory-style dome on the roof, with the light regulated by the computer-controlled, irising shutter. With the focal point at a reliable, known location, they could use the heat for everything from 3d printing by sintering sand into glass, to forging or smelting metal, to operating a sort of CNC plasma cutter.
Hey, I've got a new story coming out in #Solarpunk Magazine next week! And I'm starting a new novel. If you'd like to know whenever I have something new out, subscribing to my newsletter is the best way to find out... plus you get free stories (some of my Singularity stuff, not solarpunk yet)...
Was nun? Das fehlt mit bitterlich und ich hab das Gefühl, dass da immer weniger kommt.
Momentan scheint #SolarPunk & Serien wie Extrapolations da noch am interessantesten.
Reread A psalm for the wild-built - still lovely 😊 did anyone else get the vibe that mosscap (and the robots in general) could be read as neurodivergent?
How about a vision of a future worth fighting for? How about a realistic take on the world we're living in but with a pathway out of the mess?
Someday, they'll decide you're ready for such things. Probably not until readers create another breakaway success like KSR's Ministry for the Future or Becky Chambers' Monk & Robot.
@rafadc Sorry. that future was there, you missed it. The new future is #SolarPunk punk ground your own coffee beans and then use the used up grounds to grow mushrooms and scare away snails. Eat Mushrooms || Eat Snails
Synergy's solarpunk aesthetic and harsh resource management makes it one stellar city builder (www.pcgamer.com)
