Tenacity @tenacity lists support for , but all the download links point to release lists that only mention Windows and Linux (however, the release notes mention macOS progress). Same is true for the installation instructions. I am too stupid to find the Mac packages?

@marcel We don't distribute macOS builds at the moment, but Tenacity is available in MacPorts

J'aimerais utiliser Tenacity plutôt qu' pour mes projets audio-visuels (afin d'utiliser des applications 100% ). Le problème est que je ne retrouve pas les mêmes effets que sur Audacity, en particulier les et . Comment faire pour les retrouver (ceux-là et tous les autres) ? 🤔

@nicolay_lilicre Did you upgrade from a previous version of Tenacity? If so, you need to delete pluginregistry.cfg and pluginsettings.cfg. This should fix the issue.

@nicolay_lilicre To find the files, they should be under your settings folder, e.g., under C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Tenaciry

At least, it's under AppData. I can't remember the exact subfolder but it's under there somewhere.

@tenacity Somehow I didn't find an answer to this, so I have this question: Do you track and port new features and fixes from Audacity? I saw the Audacity new release announcement about lossless pitch change and couldn't find out if Tenacity ported that feature.

@kamikazow Sometimes we track upstream. For example, 1.4 will track upstream's realtime effects. It really depends on what users want.

@kamikazow it is in a way, but we're limited in resources and it's a little difficult because of how far we're diverging away from Audacity.

Take realtime effects for example. See https://codeberg.org/tenacityteam/tenacity/issues/330 and you'll see how many upstream PRs have to be implemented (there might be more needed later). Forget anything from 3.5 too.

Heads up for nightly users: if you've been experiencing issues with trying to save projects or get an error about automatic backup failing, update to the latest nightly now. We fixed an issue where writing to a project fails and creating new tracks and other operations fails because auto save failed.
