Accommodations are hardly ever the solution. For a disabled person to be granted accommodations, we have to jump through numerous hoops, and there is no guarantee they will be granted (it's hardly ever a doctor deciding-it's an institution). Allies build inclusion in so we don't need accommodations.

As the semester has ended for most folks, I want to remind all disabled students about the US Office of Civil Rights. If you were discriminated against for your disability or denied an accommodation, you have 90 days since the incident to file a complaint.

If you live in the UK and have ADHD, please take a look at Dr Dyi Dieuwertje Huijg's survey, "ADHD Women: Resisting a Neuronormative World."

Dyi has ADHD herself, and she's one of the few folks I've encountered researching ADHD with ADHD.
