Der Bullshitfaktor bei elektrischen Zahnbürsten ist wirklich groß.

Während ich mir eine Bürstenkopferneuerungserinnerung noch eingehen lasse, zweifle ich, ob man wirklich sog. "KI" braucht oder eine "Echtzeit-Coaching" oder eine "Zahnflächenanalyse" oder verschiedene Betriebsmodi.

Was sollen das überhaupt für Modi sein? Rotieren die Bürsten dann schneller und langsamer und in Mustern? Aber was soll das bitte nützen?

Puh ... da kann man am Ende ja nur enttäuscht sein. Ganz schön aufgeblasen

I'm thinking about metalhead.club advertising.

So many people haven't heard of this place, even though it might be just right for them.

Traditional advertising is very ineffective with my/our resources. As far as I know, it's only worthwhile with advertising budgets in the five-figure range.

I would like to rely on personal contacts because I hope that "the right" people will come here and fewer people who want to cause trouble or sabotage.

Bei Qobuz kann man ganze Alben nun offenbar nur noch mit einer extra Software heruntergeladen. Das ging bis vor kurzem noch als einfaches tar.gz file oder Zip.

Natürlich wird keine Version für Linux angeboten. 🙃

Drecksladen. War dann wohl mein letzter Kauf dort.

Edit: Wollte gerade dem Support schreiben. Supportseite verweist auf ein Menü, das auf der Website nicht existiert. 😩

Hat jemand von euch schon mal das Datenverzeichnis von #Minio auf eine andere Partition verschoben?

Entweder stelle ich mich gerade doof an oder das geht nicht so einfach. Symlinks zum neuen Speicherort an verschiedenen Stellen scheitern - und wenn ich den Container-Mountpoint ändere, streikt das Ding auch. Permissions sollten passen.

Ich bin ein bisschen ratlos. Verschieben / Symlinken / Pfad ändern ist notwendig wegen Speichermangels.

Bisher bestes Mittel zum reinigen des USB Büchse des Smartphones: Eine alte Zahnbürste.

Edit: Stimmt leider doch nicht. Es hat auch herausgestellt, dass ich damit den festgestampften Staub ganz hinten in der Buchse nicht erreiche. Da hilft nur eine Nadel und Vorsicht. :(

💡 By the way: metalhead.club has a bus factor of 2.

Bus factor could be better, but there are only a few persons who I 1) trust and who 2) have the expertise to handle 🔥 situations.

@milan is one of them, therefore we partner regarding server emergency situations.

If one day @milan is run over by a bus, I can at least warn users and continue hosting social.tchncs.de to a certain degree. The same is true if I'm run over by a bus 🚌 . Milan will be able to access our server systems and help.

Viel wichtiger als irgendwelche "Drüberkommentare" Features fände ich bei Mastodon ja vernünftige Spamerkennungs-Tools.

Pixelfed macht es mit seinem simple naive Bayes Filter vor. Sowas hätte ich auch gerne. Klar, ist simple und naive, aber könnte uns einen Haufen manuelle Arbeit ersparen.

Wozu haben wir denn Machine learning? ...

Verstehe natürlich auch, dass die Entwicklungsressourcen stark eingeschränkt sind. Aber Prios, Leute,... Prios! ... ;-)

Gibt es ein Portal, wo ich falsch abgestellte E-scooter schnell und einfach melden kann? Ich habe von Scooter-Melder.de gehört, aber außer Lime scheint dort kein Anbieter mehr aktiv zu sein.

Hier in Ingolstadt geht es vor allem um Tier Scooter.

Klar hat das alles was von "Falschparker aufschreiben", aber mir geht das gehörig auf den Sack, dass einige Leute meinen, sie können ihren Roller einfach mitten auf den Radweg stellen.

Regarding the #metalheadclub t-shirt: Do you prefer the logo to be on the front or the back of your t-shirt?

I imagine it to be better readable on the back. (and on concerts, festivals,... You will probably be seen from the back most of the time?). On the other hand it might be incompatible to vests, jackets, hoodies,...

What do you think?

(I'll clarify cost for big logo on back and small logo in front) ;)

Absolut verständlicher Schritt. Aber traurig, dass es nötig ist. Mir war das Thema neu, bis sich vor ein paar Monaten dann mal die Person vom Restaurant für meine Absage bedankt hat. Es sei leider nicht selbstverständlich, dass angerufen werde.

Wow. Leuten ist alles egal, oder? Hauptsache keine Verbindlichkeiten. Bei der Restaurantreservierung nicht und in der Liebe schon gar nicht, oder? Puuh. 😩

Wollte meine in die Jahre gekommene USB Festplatte am TV ja durch einen USB Stick ersetzen. Nun stellt sich heraus: Sendungen aufzeichnen geht damit, aber Live TV puffern (für die Pause-Funktion) geht offenbar nicht.

Warum - das weiß nur LG.(und hat bestimmt nen total behämmerten Grund).
