Facebook hingegen muss Aktionäre befriedigen. Ups.

(und "wir" Fediverse-Admins sind verhältnismäßig teuer, weil wir Strom und Netz nicht im Großhandel einkaufen, sondern unten in der Kette stehen)

Das ist jetzt eine ernst gemeinte Frage, also bitte keinen Hass in diesem Thread ;)

Aber mich würde wirklich interessieren, wieso Leute SUVs kaufen. Ich kann absolut verstehen, wieso man sich das als Fahrzeug fürs Gelände kauft. In Forstwirtschaft. Als Landwirt. Von mir aus im Landschaftsbau. Alles kein Thema.

Aber wieso kauft man sich das als Normalo? Ich sehe da nichts als Nachteile. Egal ob beim Parken, beim Spritverbrauch, bei der Steuer...

Ist es nur Status? Höher Sitzen? Klärt mich auf.

Our t-shirts have been printed and will be shipped to my private "fulfillment center" in the next couple of days. 😁

Today is the 10th of November and it is already clear that we are leaving the month with a slight plus. (https://donate.650thz.de)

This means that metalhead.club is sustainably financed even a year after the huge rush on the Mastodon network and reserves for unexpected costs can be built up or maintained.

I am often asked for templates for emails aimed at inviting new users and bands to our metalhead.club.

While I can understand that it's easier to use a template, customize it if necessary and send it, I don't think it's particularly useful at the moment.

Because: Recycled texts wear out. Bands don't want to receive the same email 10 times under different names and don't want to feel like they're talking to a machine. Personal recommendations and personal communication are important.
