@masukomi that isn't an allistic problem fwiw, that's a recipe problem - if you're cooking rice you need to get quantities of liquid and time right or it's going to go sideways no matter how sparkly your brain.

No other ingredients in the recipe require specific quantities of liquid to cook since they don't absorb liquid. If it were me and for humans I would do it without the rice, cook it separately, and put the stew etc over it, but for dogs I assume texture doesn't matter and it's a binder?

@senanthic most people bond with their purchases and the brands associated with them, because that is what our marketing has been insisting we do for our entire lives. It is "weird" (ie sane) that you don't.

My problem is more industry than that: we call these "overall sat" questions, sat for satisfaction. You want to ask at the beginning, drill down, and ask again in a different way after to track delta.

But that doesn't work if you frame it as DO YOU LOVE US? TELL US YOU LOVE US.

@senanthic for me, my adhd means I constantly build tools. Tools carry institutional and muscle memory, my brain doesn't - I may not know how to do a thing but if I have a tool for it, once I pick it up the rest will occur to me.

Which means I need interoperability and standards, usb-c and 1/4" 20 everything, which means some brands are sane and some aren't, and going to a sane brand saves time.

But like...I am brain-broken, and in marketing, and a technician. I am not representative lol

@NanoRaptor My pick is the 11" macbook air, it packed SO MUCH actual public transit / airport warrior portability, battery life, and unix-y goodness into 2.4 pounds, it felt godly.

@senanthic I’m listening to this and I’m waiting for the But. it’s 50 minutes long and this dude isn’t capable of not talking about himself.

He doesn’t seem to get that the way you get past plagiarism is doing work of your own and citing your sources, and then doing it again, and again, until you are at least sort of trustworthy.

Seems like he doesn’t actually know how to make things.

This is all he’s got.

@senanthic Yeah, I almost turned it off when he reverted back to his "sorry I was bad at crediting people".

Nobody who has ever tried to make something new thinks this way. It's fascinating. He isn't creative, and he only sort of knows how to pretend to be creative, so when forced to make something, he fucking can't.

I believe the one part in the middle though where he says he couldn't write fast enough to pay the bills. THAT was genuine.
