I’m having to restart my VoiceOver every five minutes because it stops reading Text Edit when I navigate with the arrow keys (Quick Nav is off). If I reach the very top or bottom of the document and press the left or right arrow key respectively, it will read the entire line the cursor is on. Am I accidentally doing something moronic, or is this yet another MacOS bug? I don’t actually write on this thing very often, but I have to test a website on it and thought maybe it would be easier than swapping between my Windows work machine and my Mac. Apparently I was wrong, as I often am when I think something on the Mac will be easier.
On the bright side, my system clock isn’t resetting itself to the wrong month anymore. You win some, you lose some.

For what it's worth, so basically not much, I think renaming "unlisted" to "quiet public" was not a good idea.

I’m looking for an audiobook player that has one specific feature: when I pause, I want to immediately rewind about five seconds, then start playing again when I hit play. Basically, I want the equivalent of pause, return to the start of sentence or paragraph, then resume. When I hit play, I want a little more context then the immediate second before unpause is resumed. I’m seeing an app that allows this after a 10 minute interval, but I would like something that does this immediately

I'd love to read a novel that has a well-written blind character in it for a change. So if any of you have suggestions, fire away. I usually read sci-fi or fantasy but I'll try most things.

I really cannot wait to find out more about the vision pro from a vo user’s perspective. There is no way I’m buying one, but I’m so curious whether any blind folks find it worth the purchase. I’m sure it has VO, but I don’t know if there will be anything about the vision pro itself that will be a draw for blind users. Most of the best experiences as described so far in reviews seem to focus on the visual experience of enlarging apps and watching big screen media. which of course is cool, but n really for VO users.
