@chucker I’ll eat my hat if Vision Pro comes with anything but M2.

Aside from the original iPhone screen plastic to glass, I cannot recall a time when Apple announced something and changed before launch.

    @RobW it’s definitely not a science so using more liquid makes sense depending on a number of factors. Honestly I’d be curious to watch you make it to see if I could point out what it could be.

    If you are confused or are complaining about the new Apple Pencil that Apple released today, I can assure you you are not who Apple is targeting for this. It’s quite obviously meant for bulk school and student purchases.

    Also the iPad lineup is not “confusing” it’s segmented by price & features to attract more customers with various budgets into the Apple (iPad) ecosystem.

    Please stop with all of the repetitive copypasta takes…

    @chucker all valid points. However, I think it’s basically as simple as

    iPad Pro - has $$$ budget, latest and greatest
    iPad Air - has $$ budget
    iPad 10th - has $ budget, schools
    iPad 9th - schools/bulk, older folks who are used to home button

    While I think customers understand features like mini LED, ports, accessories, I think ultimately many don’t care or are willing to make trade offs to just get a device.

    I’d be willing to wager most folks go in looking at the Air and 10th gen

    @chucker and the 9th gen is imo 100% an option for school districts and bulk purchases. They aren’t widely displayed/features at the stores. If you do purchase this model I bet it’s highly related to minimal budget.

    And on the opposite spectrum, if budget is no issue, and you need this device for work/art or need/want the latest and greatest, it’s default Pro purchase.

    @chucker okay so last post about it but I totally get your point tho!!

    It could probably be reduced to Pro and Air solely. That would be clean and easy for sure.

    However I really see the reason for each model and I wouldn’t say it’s complicated just more options for a pretty great device regardless. Nobody buying a 9th gen iPad is expecting Pro model features

    @RobW 🙁 never been to sea world, and no plans to go

    I love sea turtles because of how long they tend to live. I also find their journey from beach to ocean fascinating since their mothers are long gone they must figure it out. Not many survive, and those that do just float in the ocean for a good couple decades lol. The tough exterior but ‘soft’ inside may be a deeper meaning too hah! And finally, they look so beautiful imo

    Ok I'm not usually one for odd health theories...but I'm honestly perplexed. Here we go:

    Ever since I moved to NYC, my skin has been super itchy. This is not something I've ever experienced before. Whenever I'd travel, it'd go back to normal. I assumed it was just the humidity.

    Recently I started filtering all my water with a PUR and the itching is GONE. I googled around and didn't find anything... curious if anyone has ever experienced this. Prob best to get my water tested just in case?

    @danielpunkass @sommer having grown up in NY, but never knew about this, I am completely terrified that there are microscopic ‘shrimp' in the tap water. As a vegetarian, I am horrified. I may never drink water again.

    Rewatching the Vision Pro introduction video and I’m surprised to be reminded how much Apple is selling the Vision Pro as a media consumption device. I’m sure it’s great for that but not $3500-great. I’m curious to see how well they’ll be able to communicate other use cases closer to the launch.

    I wish more apps on iOS increased their prices, rather than go down the subscription model. I’d love to see $60 AAA games, and for example, desktop class apps on iPad Pro like FCP and Logic.
