it's super nice to write web documents in xml/xslt because if there's any syntax error the server just refuses to send the page, instead of leaving it up to the browser to guess something (which is what happens with malformed html)

would be cool if fedi servers had a way to "watch" a post so that you get notified of any replies to it, even if it's not your post

like often i see posts asking for advice and im like "gee i want the answer too" but its annoying to have to check back on the post periodically
