I would say, pretty much everything I've heard about Japan is true. Like that the big city transforms into a different beast at night. during the day is lovely, but the nights here have a very unique energy, bustling, electric, releasing.

The difficulty in troubleshooting issues with the radosgw S3 API is often the question of whether for a particular call radosgw has an implementation bug, or S3 as implemented in AWS is really stupidly counterintuitive.

  1. When enabling a legal hold on an object, does that hold apply to all its versions, or just one?

  2. When removing a legal hold from an object, is that hold removed from all its versions, or just one?

@larsmb Exactly, and what I'm seeing (in radosgw, at least) is that setting a legal hold applies to all versions whereas removing it affects just one.

Having set up a few guitars in my time, I have to say this is the first time I’ve tackled setting the action (aka string height) on an acoustic guitar. Quite daunting, given sandpaper is involved. Plays much better now!

Ugh. I need to give more talks and just verbalize more in general. Am reflecting on the latest talks I've given and I hate how I'm just not very fluent because I'm more used to just typing. It's just hard to do sometimes because of not always having thoughts in the right order.
