I'm a video editor and designer by trade and a wild creative at heart. I like to write and create images of sorts. #creativity #solarpunk #photography I was born in St. Pölten (Austria). Once upon a time I lived in Brisbane, Australia. Now I live in Vienna. I'm learning Italian and probably travel to Italy more than any other country. Amo Roma <3
Also, I photograph flowers a lot. Also, I most likely love your dog. And your cat.

I would say, pretty much everything I've heard about Japan is true. Like that the big city transforms into a different beast at night. during the day is lovely, but the nights here have a very unique energy, bustling, electric, releasing.

I'm glad to see people finally starting to comment on these things more everywhere: Why again are we worshipping rich celebrities? I love creativity, I enjoy good beats and I think fashion can be a wonderful way of expression. But why do we worship rappers bragging about private jets? Why is it normal that insane amounts of money are spent at events like the Met Gala when ... well. Look at the world. I want to hear songs bragging about using power for good, not jets.

When I was a kid, I basically watched whatever my older siblings had recorded on VHS over and over again. One of my favourites was the movie Legend and up to this day images like this will always remind me of this film.

I have a lot more to say, but I'll hold it for now and simply wonder aloud...

Which BigTech clouds are the "Lavender" & "Where's Daddy?" AI systems running on? What APIs are they using? Which libraries are they calling?

What work did my former colleagues, did I, did you contribute to that may now be enabling this automated slaughter?

(Also, content warning. This is some of the sickest shit I've ever read.)

Just seen someone on the dark side saying they're sitting down with their four and six year old children to watch the "nice, wholesome children's film" ... Watership Down 😱 😬
That's their Sunday ruined. I only ever saw it once and this is literally the only thing I remember about it.

At the moment I feel it more strongly than other days: That we are living in a crazy world. Where we find justifications to kill our own planet for a number on a virtual account. Where we find the best way to defend a country is to tolerate letting little children starve. Where we waste our planet's resources on death and war. Where we glorify the consumption of useless crap, rather than connecting with what makes us alive. How is all of this normal? I can't stop thinking about it.

@NatureMC Tbh, I can hardly concentrate and I find my nervous system extremely agitated currently. That's kind of my nature, but world events really aren't helping. Sometimes it's felt silly to post stuff online, but that was Facebook which always seemed to turn into a hate-and-outrage-machine. But even when discussing in face to face conversations emotions seem to boil really quickly. Sometimes I resign a little and keep things to myself. And sometimes I just need to voice these thoughts.

There is something compulsive about a phone. The gadget-ridden man of our age loves it, loathes it, and is afraid of it. But he always treats it with respect, even when he is drunk. The telephone is a fetish.

I've wanted to go to forever, but from insufficient budget to divorce to a pandemic there was always something getting in the way. Well it seems I'm finally going to mid May to mid June and I'm doing lots of research now. Additionally to nature I'm also moving into photographing arts and , things made by hand. If anyone happens to be in the area and has recommendations regarding Osaka, , and photo ops, would love to hear any advice, tips, recommendations! :)

One woman in the Bronx; millions of lives changed.

Doctor Gottsman, once a Professor at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, now Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, inherited $1 billion from her husband, with the only stipulation being "Do what you think is right."

So she did. She set up a perpetual trust that will pay for ALL tuition for EVERY student attending the college from August this year. Forever. A tuition that runs to about $240,000 for the 4-year course.

Just think: one person has, in one step, changed the lives of tens of millions of people.

The students will study debt free.
    They will graduate debt free.
They won't have to work stupid jobs just to pay off that debt.
They will be able to concentrate on their profession.
They'll be able to move into research.
They'll be able to take on further study.
They'll be able to work for clinics and community medicine.

The USA has over 900 billionaires...

Last year was a time of ploughing and sowing new seeds. For a long time I'd been talking about making more out of my own creativity but I guess felt safer in editing video for others.

Around August I began building my own portfolio. It took me months to find what I feel is my voice. This is so far from done, but I'm starting to take photography clients and getting art ready to sell. I'd be honored if you wanted to have a look.
