@JohnJBurnsIII carbon steel is an interesting option too. My understanding is that it seasons like cast iron, but weighs like stainless steel.

Of what I have currently, I prefer my cast iron, but I’m interested in carbon steel.

@BlackAzizAnansi 2020 was not better to me. Trump was massively botching the pandemic response. It turned out that a lot of people I knew had misrepresented themselves to me (“good Christian folk”). My youngest was born and I have a lot of stress about the existence they will have. Biden won, but not to the level that meant Americans rejected fascism.
2020 broke my heart a little. 2024 is a recovery year.

I tried setting up a Matrix server for work. its setup, seems to work ok, but not easy enough to get a non-tech office worker to use.

@notsle if it’s bots that you want, I think the Microsoft solution is Power Automate…

But not too long ago I was looking at n8n.io for some business process automation. It’s an interesting tool and it seems they support teams integrations. https://n8n.io/integrations/microsoft-teams/
I’m not sure if it’d be an option for you or not, but at least it’s independent from Teams so it could survive Teams getting replaced. Also, others wouldn’t have to leave Teams.

I don't know if you've seen this article.

Their furnace would not turn off - and effectively cooked the house and the residents... with the temperatures measured of the furnace casing being over 1000 degrees (e.g. that's "red hot" territory - and that metal ain't very thick... so softening and close to melting).

How does that device not have cut-offs - that are "fail-safe" - meaning the "safe" devices melt at low temps and shut off gas/electricity?
