I wanted to get a pulse check on how new members are finding the general experience/website. Is it more confusing than Reddit or are you finding the instance system a better way of doing things as it can give you more freedom of where you choose to create an account?...
The people from Lemmygrad are called comrades. However, you will need a different Fediverse account for microblogging section because not all posts from there are translated into Lemmy posts.

Right now the user count Lemmys is comparatively tiny when held up against reddit - but the user count isn't the thing that makes a social media site, it's the engagement...
Aren't Reddit admins afraid of the Fediverse trying to eat the portion of Reddit userbase? Don't worry, we have r/redditalternatives. Also, r/Mastodon and r/Fediverse are still on the scene.

I have been trying to get access to my feed for most of the day, and I am just getting timed out messages and no feeds. Anyone else part of this instance? Can you confirm if it is alive....

The title says. My current Lemmy client, Jerboa, which is made by an admin, could support kbin with assistance from kbin devs.

now I can't even browse reddit since there is a never ending stream of posts and comments on lemmy ^^...
