There are so many useful tools for parents to take care of this. Those who do not feel comfortable need to become informed. Imagine if every parent who didn’t like the idea of teenagers driving a car refused to teach their kids how to live around cars and streets.
Parenting is a lot of work, but that’s the game folks. Prohibition culture doesn’t work and the government can only do so much. At some point you have to step in and be a parent, because the Internet is part of our lives for better or for worse. The best you can do is teach your kids how to navigate responsibly, protect themselves, and come to you when they don’t understand something/see something potentially traumatic. Because they will lol.
While still punishing larger families that absolutely need the space. I'm not against the concept generally speaking but we need to consider those kinds of ramifications. Low income families can be large too, afterall. Not even talking about with kids - many families have the grandparents/cousins/etc. around as well.

Most “general strikes” have been abject failures. Real change is slow, deliberate, and not sexy. Typically local. People have this romantic view of strikes, in particular general strikes, when the reality it’s smaller, more difficult, and a long road. See: Harlan County, USA.
You don’t flip Starbucks over night. You take over store by store.
Edit; I don’t know how I read this as strike when clearly it’s a boycott lol ignore me
If we want wider adoption and tout interoperability than we need to allow some other platforms to integrate in some ways. I do agree though it makes me a bit anxious, but I also think it would be silly for email clients to bar gmail accounts from interacting with them.
Politicians being told not to use a song happens surprisingly often actually, I know Donald Trump was told not to use one, I believe it was “rocking in the free world”. They’ve also told Nigel Farage off, apparently.
Man I just found the writing and overall humor so unbelievably ham fisted/try hard. I like over the top satire but it felt incredibly one-note. I lost interest after about 5hrs or so

Look, I want to agree with you, but how long have we had to suffer boomers telling younger generations that literally everything they do is wrong/they are so entitled despite the fact that they were allegedly the ones who taught us everything we know? Now suddenly when we punch back everyone realizes the limitations of making generalizations based on generations?
I can even stomach that. But remember they literally called their parents “the greatest generation” because they bombed Germany/Italy/Japan into submission. They worship people who killed other people. I get it was a “just war” but think for a second about how in the 20th century the LITERALLY GREATEST PEOPLE EVER according to boomers were warriors. It tells you something about American cultural values in particular.
