A grocery store near my house has an entrance exactly like this, except the roads are 3 lanes each. It's genuinely a nightmare to navigate if it's even remotely busy.
“Last year, Red Lobster reported $11 million in operating losses following its flubbed ‘Ultimate Endless Shrimp’ deal, which backfired when it reeled in too many customers after the limited-time promo became a permanent menu fixture last June. The restaurant chain later reported $12.5 million in losses in the fourth...
I actually went a few months ago because my parents got me a Red Lobster gift card for some reason. It was actually pretty freaking good. Honestly, I'd go back, but it's kind of expensive even for how much I liked it.
Point 2 specifies "and", but it's still super racist. Apparently white people who join street gangs and perform gang-related crimes aren't terrorists, only Hispanics are.
The new attitude, coupled with a cost of living crisis that leaves many younger generations unable to afford a party lifestyle, is having a knock-on effect on the nighttime economy.
Title is blatantly misleading. Gen Z wants to party as much as their predecessors did, they literally just don't have the money to do so.
Acutis was beatified by Pope Francis in October 2020 after a first miracle was attributed to him, involving a Brazilian boy born with a pancreatic defect who said he was healed after praying to Acutis.
According to Vatican News, the news portal of the Holy See, the second miracle involved a Costa Rican woman whose daughter had a bicycle accident and was given a low chance of survival by doctors
Has the bar for "miracle" always been that low? People don't die around me all the time, can I be sainted?
It's only a scam if they're being misleading. I've never heard anyone say "get an art degree, you'll get rich!" It's not a scam to study art simply because you want to develop your knowledge and talents in a structured way. Should art degrees cost as much as they do? Probably not, but "expensive" and "scam" are two different things.
One thing LotR does very well: lets men show emotions that aren't anger. Frodo smiles, shouts Gandalf's name excitedly, cracks a joke with him, and gives him a hug. That's how you know they're old friends.
Imagine the following scenario: On the 9th of January 2024 in the morning we wake up to news that President of the USA Joe Biden suffered a stroke and died in White House. The administration confirms that the death was entirely natural and no third party contributed to it. Even before the news reach all TV stations another one...
You forgot the part where millions of people still write in Donald Trump based on the widespread conspiracy that he's still alive, and we get to figure out what happens when a state tries to elect a dead man.
The problem is that red light cameras incentivizes cities to encourage dangerous driving, because it is now a revenue source. Multiple cities have been caught illegally shortening yellow lights because shorter yellow lights cause more red light violations, yielding more money for the city and also increasing the rate of accidents at those intersections.
For what it's worth, I totally agree. We've "lesser evil"ed our way into voting for genocide, the greatest evil. Sorry that things are going to get worse under Trump, but there is a 0% chance that I vote for either of the genocide candidates, even if one is worse than the other. Democrats will have to lose elections until they field an anti-genocide candidate for the presidency (I can't believe that's a qualification now).
Because it turns out that conforming to what your parents and your community believe is way more influential to the average person than objective truth.
