In reality it would benefit US having more time to position forces in the middle east and finally properly start that war with Iran. So not really sure if ceasefire would really net more human lives saved in the end.
I mean thats the thing, you cant get any "estimate of the reality" when the data is fake. We will probably never know the real numbers(at least not anytime soon).
The real issue is that this is used to further encourage the war chearleaders, "look how much ass were kicking", while the reality is that innocent people that didnt ask for this are dying on both sides like flies. And all these fuckers on reddit and now here, that post this crap dont really care for human lives, but just make sure the public opinion keeps being geared towards continuing this madness as long as possible.

Also very interesting timing, the Ukraine counter-offensive doesnt seem to have any results so far and this happens, which implies foreign buyout of Prigozhin, even if not true thats what the rest of the gang will be certain of. So there is no going back for Prigozhin, its all or nothing for him now.

Unless its a diversion tactic to start an offensive or bait Ukraine to attack, similar to what happened with Bakhmut. Prigozhin was complaining that they dont give them ammo and escalating tensions saying he will pull back, asking for Shoigus head... And then few days later they go back and take Bakhmut.
