I'm so sorry. Can you not sell some of the wine? Would he notice if it was a smaller collection? Just a reminder that financial abuse is abuse, control is abuse, there are shelters for people who are being abused which will get you out of that environment.
I (20m) am 6’5" tall. One of my female friends who’s 5’5" told me that my height makes my belly particularly vulnerable in case if I get attacked with a pocket knife, for example. Why is it so?
I'd go back to the 1970s, the dawning of personal computer growth in it's beginnings. I'd take every single idea and patent from today and collect them all in a multiple series of binders. I would spend weeks holed up in some apartment, jotting notes, re-directing credits to me....
Get all the horse racing results for 1950 or so, take what money I have and gamble it until I have a decent amount, then stick it in a high interest savings account, come home and I'll be sorted for life.
But in reality, I don't think I would make the most of it, I'd love to just go look at stuff, turn up to one of the first Nirvana gigs where 6 people turned up, go for a walk in Pompeii 2 weeks before the eruption, sit in the poor seats watching a Shakespeare play at The Globe, watch mammoths migrate across Siberia. Seeing those things would be amazing.
He's disgraced himself recently by talking about how he doesn't want his kids exposed to gays, I think that should kill a lot of the further left vote that he's trying to court.

Were you seeing it as a sort of squished body? I thought that from the beginning but then I realised the body was in a jar and that made it less creepy to me.
There was a bit where he tapped it and you could see it was surrounded by glass, then the metal bit was a screw lid. Not sure really why that's less creepy but up to then I was cringing every time he touched the eye.
Corbyn, who led Labour between 2015 and 2019, was initially expelled from the party and had the whip withdrawn in April 2020, under the leadership of his erstwhile ally Keir Starmer....
I have always called a light top with a full zipper to be a jacket, however the people I’m surrounded by insist on calling it a sweatshirt. I’m prepared to be wrong, just wondering if I’m the only one.
I like birding by Merlin, go for a walk, have Merlin on in your pocket, concentrate on the looking and spotting as you walk, then when you finish you get a surprise long eared owl notification.
I don't personally believe it's ever OK to celebrate death. Celebrating the end of a brutal regime is slightly different though and I believe at least part of the commenters are celebrating that.
It's very naive though, the regime was never one man, it will continue and people will continue to suffer.
I feel like that's the same as saying people are toxic or socialisation is toxic. Yes, toxicity can exist online, it can also exist in the supermarket, at school, in a field miles away from anywhere. It's just a facet of being with other humans.
Survival of the fittest just means the most adapted to the current environment. Our current environment has medicine so we're adapted to that. If that suddenly changes then sure it would be an issue, but so would a climate difference of even a few degrees, a slight difference in the chemical make up of air, etc.
Completely random stoned hypothetical. Lets day im old as fuck and I decide I’m ready and done. Could I have the same postmortem autopsy done on me while I’m still alive? Like give me a ton of drugs and let me watch myself get dissected as my final moments. I understand there is a legal and possibly moral concern, but is it...
We only have Eurasian nuthatches here, fun fact I learned recently, they're the only British bird who can climb down a tree, every other bird has to fly to the bottom and climb up, that's wild to me.
I got in on an earlier flight, and arrived at 6 it was a pain in the ass… I literally had to walk around for like 4 hours until things opened, and I was so tired and weary all day.
I always just go, worst case scenario they were super busy the night before and don't have any rooms ready so you leave your bags with them and go explore lighter, but most of the time they have a room and let you in.
You can also pre-book early check in but I tend to only do that if I really need it because it costs and usually you can sneak in by turning up.
This is all sex education though. Nobody is saying you should be showing porn to toddlers, but age appropriate sex education comes from when they can speak. Names for body parts, the underwear rule, how a baby is born, this is all normal stuff you can teach pre-schoolers.
What's the most expensive thing you've come to own that you've never gotten to fully use?
Why does being tall make your belly more vulnerable in case of an attack?

You're a time traveler, what would you do if you went back in time to make the most of it?
