Strangely there is a lack of NSFW comments subs listed.
I'm certain that all my favorite hobbies, games, music, and politics will eventually have a magazine equivalent to the previous subreddits, but I'm not as hopeful for all the niche amateur NSFW subreddits. Reddit was great about having subreddits to cater to what appeals to everyone which connected amateur voyeurs to an audience that appreciated their... uh.. offerings.
Oh, that is good news! I can see Kbin being the next Digg>Fark>Reddit iteration with a working app and 3rd party app support. I'll check back soon. Thanks for the link.
Does anyone else have multiple accounts while looking for new reddit alts? So far I've got accounts on Lemmy, kbin, and Squabbles and I've been lurking on Raddle, Sqwok, and Tildes from the outside....
I've got accounts with Lemmy, kbin, and squabble so far. I prefer kbin over the others, but as a 100% mobile user, the lack of a mobile app has me discouraged.
This is the point that needs to be conveyed. Not every comment requires a full engagement of conversation. A quick up/down vote to show agreement is all that's needed and we shouldn't require unnecessary fluff.
Additionally, having a log of people's liked comments sounds like an incredible source of abuse for people scraping user data...
They don't even need to NOT charge for API connections... They could just charge a reasonable fee, and allow 3rd party apps enough time to accommodate for them. Giving developers 30 days to figure out how to make their apps feasible AND implement that change on all their users is absurd.

What niche reddit community do you want to see find a place on the fediverse?
Personally i'm looking forward to seeing twobestfriendsplay, arkhamasylum, whowouldwin, and respectthreads, on here.

What is a low-cost, easy to start hobby?
As a favorite time waster site implodes, I’m sure many of us are in the market for a hobby.
