Not sure if it's just a me problem or a wider known issue but both of those scripts stop working for me when I have infinite scrolling enabled. They work great on the 1st page but when it loads the next page they both stop working.
I'd take the car if there wasn't a large sum of money included. I've owned boats most of my life and believe me they cost a lot of money to keep in a slip and maintain each year. Even a "normal" boat will cost you $5k - $10k a year to maintain. A car you just need a secure covered place to keep it.
Slips for luxury boats can run several thousand dollars a month to rent. Add in 10% of the price of the boat per year to just keep it floating and in working order.
Some of Reddit’s most popular communities have posted open letters to the company with a series of requests regarding many key issues at the heart of the recent protests on the platform. They want a response by June 29th.
Apps are always nice, but lots of mobile websites, including the kbin one, are entirely functional as an app. In your browser you can just make a shortcut to them, and they'll appear on your home screen and act as an app....
Mine was doing that and I realized my font size setting in Android setting was set one size bigger than the middle mark. I moved it one tick to the left and it all fits now.
This is one of the most genius works of art I think I have ever seen. I've watched it several times and have noticed something different every time....
I don't know, but I think he either had a marketing team or he himself made the choice to interact with and allow the reaction channels full access to his works in order to drive more people to him and it created a viral wave on YT. If you look at any 2 or more of the reaction videos the same people are commenting in mass on the videos. It usually takes me a few days of not watching any music videos to get the recommendations back to normal.
I used redact.dev to bulk edit mine. I am waiting a few days to make sure they don't get changed back by reddit and then I am going to edit them one more time then delete them and my 13 year old account.
I was about 12 years old maybe 13 at the time and I forget a lot of the people that visited but I had a great time running it and learning how to set things up. I ran a few different brands of software but the last I remember is teleguard. I made some good friends via the bbs and was an early user of Fidonet....
I may have something left from back then but I doubt it. My memory isn't that great anymore either. I hung onto the computer I ran the BBS on for a long time but with multiple moves and living on a boat for a couple of years I ended up trashing it along the way.
I was just looking at some of the links in the sidebar and briefly thought about starting a BBS again but I have way to many other half finished projects to start a new one. If you do start one though make sure to share it and I'll check it out. I like the learning curve and the newness of this also. Makes my time spent here more worthwhile I think.
Ah the Anarchist cookbook was my first upload I got on the BBS that's a fond memory. Yeah my parents were technologically illiterate at the time but knew danger when they saw it.
Not only is this a way for you to keep your stuff, inform you what reddit knew about you and in general good to do with services you use every now and then - it also tends to be quite expensive operation for tech companies that aren't quite operationally mature yet....
I made a request last weekend and never got an answer. Checking back today it say's I can't request again. Either they are way behind or they aren't giving out the info.
I was just banned from r/news today for deleting a 10 year old comment then got a snarky message from a mod about being a 'hero' and told to grow up. Reddit is dead to me.
I had a 1024 day reading streak going and somehow missed a day just this past Monday. What a bummer. We had some plumbing issues at the house and it threw my whole day off.
It was a shock when I checked a few days ago. I think that was my longest streak. I was in the hospital in 2018 and lost my phone in the accident that put me there. I forget what the streak was before that.
Thanks. I go through different genres, lately I've been on space opera and time travel and have been sucked into some series that are huge so there is always something new. My Next in series list is a few pages long. Trying to remember the plot is the problem lol.
I got banned from r/news and talked down to by some mod shortly after editing all of my posts. The reason for the ban was protest bot. That took away any hard feelings I had about leaving reddit.
The proposed east-west transit line across the city has moved in fits and starts over two decades. The new governor is promising to get the project back on track.
Yeah I'm prepared to be disappointed also. I live east of the city and would really like a mass transit option into the city. Hopefully something will come of this new push.
Hopefully people will search and find us here. I read the Maryland subreddit everyday when I was on Reddit and enjoyed it as I'm sure you all did / do.
Why do posts that aren’t from kbin show “kbin.social” next to the title?
If you were given a choice between a fancy boat or a fancy car, which would you pick? You can't sell either.
I'm not sure yet about my answer

OC While you're waiting on a kbin app, you should know the mobile site is entirely functional as a mobile app. Just make a shortcut for your home screen

OC I doubt anyone remembers or knows of it but I used to run the Blackhole BBS in Maryland back in the 80's.

TayTay PERMA-SUSPENDED by Reddit for 'Harassment' Over Comment Asking for Response!! TayTay, the Sole Active Mod of r/Tumblr, Demodded by Inactive Mod r/IranianGenius (Overseeing 60+ Subs) for Privatizing the Subreddit After Community Vote to go Private!
TayTay's post asking for Reddit admins to respond to his report about being demodded unfairly...
Banned from r/news for deleting a 10 year old comment with redact. Guess the mods there have no backbone. No big deal to me since I'm deleting my account soon but be aware.
Messed up and broke a 1024 day reading streak :(

Shreddit but with a local backup. Possible?
Does anyone know how to modify Shreddit?...
