@vmaziman holy crap I didn't think of this. I met a girl a few days ago and we've been texting back and forth each day. Is this something she's thinking?? Mother F*** now it's in my head 😣
theoretically the gorilla could realize that his ex was the real alpha of this situation.
the gorilla would then become the victim faster than he could beat his own chest.
the ex's abuse towards this already abused yet jacked gorilla could also theoretically make a situation where the gorilla goes back to his gym-house to find OP and beat his ass for putting him through all that shit for nothing.
Reddit CEO Steve Huffman said he wants to end user-led protest by instituting a rule that would allow users to vote out moderators who have overseen the protest. NBC News' David Ingram shares the latest.
@thiccdiccnicc Digg, myspace and heck ebaumsworld were all places that eventually started dying at some point. I just deleted my 3rd party app for Reddit to prevent my autopilot from clicking on the icon. If someone like me is done with Reddit, I imagine there's many that feel the same way. In fact, even if spez stepped down, I don't think I'd return to a centralized platform anymore.
Hey everyone, super excited to be exploring the fediverse both here on kbin and elsewhere. Looking for a Mastodon client primarily for iOS, great to see the main app is open-source, but there seems to be quite a few options out there. Feel free to share non-iOS clients for others' benefit as well....
@Arthur Megalodon is the best I've tried so far. I'm also using the kbin.social on the web for now until they have their own app released. Really excited for it's release. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for it!
Personally I think not having karma limits is nice currently! I understand why they were used but grinding karma as a lurker on reddit was frustrating.
That would be nice but these platforms with "instances" look like it's a Reddit on steroids. I don't see how a community could be shut down with the way it's setup currently. I'm a complete newbie though so don't rely on my unprofessional observations.

Which is the first PC game that blew your mind?

Reddit refugees, check in
Just breaking the ice, that's all :-)
Will Reddit ever cave in?
Exactly as the title says, do you guys think Reddit will buckle and at least be more reasonable or maybe even reverse their current decisions?...
What kinds of things from reddit would you like to see Lemmy avoid as the user base grows?
