I have been on tretinoin for a while, and now that I have increased the % at the recommendation of my derm I am flakey as hell. I am looking for a GENTLE physical exfoliant, preferably something that isn't a face wash type thing since my skin hates everything and breaks out even if the water changes 😒
I use these silicone face exfoliators that I bought 2 years ago, it's a pack of 4 and I'm still using my first one. Gentle and does the job. I pair it with a mild facewash.
Also, if you're really flaky, you might want to up your moisturizer game.
What I'm finding and what's really annoying, is that every streaming service out there has like 1 or 2 shows and a couple of movies I want to see. Someone will bring up a show, but oh sorry, it's on Crave. Or nope, that one's on Disney Plus. That other show? It's on Prime.
I recently canceled Netflix and moved to Crave, and I am certainly no happier. Thank God I barely care to watch TV as it is.
I ordered the Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil because now during summer I have to remove not only makeup but also SPF so I need something a bit more heavy duty. I’ve heard good things about this product so I’m excited to try it out!...
I was all gung-ho to try to find a new facial moisturizer as I'm running out of Cetaphil, but after trying Neutrogena's hyaluronic acid face serum and have it make my neck itch and my eyelids swell up, I'm too scared to try new things again :P
What's weird is that I really don't have skin that's ever reacted to anthing I've put on it, and I can use the Neutrogena hyaluronic acid face moisturizer just fine.
Apparently they also made the garlic chilli sauce I used to buy that I can't find anymore either. I've got a couple recipes I'm not making anymore since I can't find it.
I have a friend who has been using an e-cigarette for 10+ years. He doesn’t seem any less addicted to smoking as back when he was using old-fashioned cigarettes....
But everyone and everything rather avoid pain, wouldn't they? And if I would like to treat those the way I would like to be treated, then why not try to help mitigate that pain where possible?

Sometimes I’m at the doctor’s office, at the library, or even at the grocery store and see an unused power outlet. My phone is dying. I feel weird plugging in, but I feel even weirder asking for permission.
I had a problem like this the other day. I needed to vacuum out my car and there is no good outlet near it where I park at my apartment building. Went to the hand wash to wash my car, then on the outside of the building there was a random outlet on the wall, no idea why it was there. I thought about plugging my vacuum in that I had in my trunk, but I felt too weird about it..
On another note, I've totally used outlets in the hospital waiting area when I've been there for hours. I don't feel weird about that for whatever reason. But we don't pay for Healthcare here so maybe that has something to do with it.
Hrm it seems defederation needs some work put into it. If an instance defederates from another, there should be no way to see each other, one way or another.
I think I've put over 500 hours into Skyrim and still haven't met the Greybeards. What a game.
Final Fantasy 12 is another game I keep picking up every couple years and I swear I keep dropping it at the same point every time.
Dragon Age Inquisition I really need to pick up again, that was a good one, but I need to finish Horizon Zero Dawn first, then go back to Elden Ring, probably pick Witcher 3 back up at some point.. yeah, I have a lot of unfinished games.

The only alternatives I'm ever told about is Gimp (which sucks, I don't care what anyone says) or Krita, which while a good program, is not the same. I also think you have to pay for Krita on Windows, but its free on Linux for some reason.
r/places is back up, hopefully there's plenty of this going around this time
