I adore this. I defaulted to old.reddit.com with an extension for good reason. I don't mind the way kbin looks but stuff like this might make the move over here easier for new users.

Guess those exclusivity rumors were just noise then, praise be.

@ivanafterall they are now actively banning folks for using the pictures subreddit as intended? good grief.

Back in the day I made those anime screenshot banners for friends… equal parts cringe as much as awesome.

I’m glad the internet moved away from that, it’s a lot of bloat.

Reddit CEO lashes out on protests, moderators and third-party apps (techcrunch.com)

"He added that he plans to make changes to moderator policies so users can vote them out. Currently, a higher-ranking moderator — or the company — can boot out moderators. Incidentally, a r/Apple moderator posted on Twitter (via 9to5Mac) that Reddit was threatening to remove moderators who are staging an indefinite...

"Can we have Elon?"
"We have Elon at home."

Did r/retrogaming mods get demodded for supporting the blackout?

For those who don't know, retrogaming on Reddit was a labour of love, there is a multireddit, m/retrogamingnetwork that networks over 60 subreddits under one banner giving the audience, banner, and reach of a big subreddit to some very small and niche spaces....

Anything they force upon you in new Reddit. Compare old to new, and you see that the same amount of page nets you a third of the content. So much bloat. Profile pictures are nice, tags and flairs are nice, but any of the crap they introduced to make things more like Facebook and Twitter can go right in the bin.

Joke aside, it may not be as popular as OW1 was, nor have as much of a dedicated fanbase. I personally haven't touched it since week one of OW2 because I was not enjoying myself like I used to, and felt scammed. I reckon plenty of others are of the same opinion.

I believe it is. Maybe someone should blow that whistle, see how Reddit would deal with an EU lawsuit at the time of the IPO.

Did the reddit hivemind do a 180 or are the people left behind just the people who don't care.

Prior to the protest reddit was in full support of the protest. Most polls on subs supported a shutdown. Now, seemingly every community cant understand why the protest was needed and they're calling it a mod power trip. There is a 3rd possibility. This is an unfounded conspiracy but reddit themselves could be manipulating...

Every time. He can’t keep getting away with this.

I'm having the same issue! My biggest problem is getting started and sitting down to immerse myself. I would like to have finished BG1 and 2 before 3 releases, but I doubt that's going to be happening.
