@ScienceDesk That could well be ~3 million years - we could be talking about the warmest year since the Mid-Piacenzian Warm Period of the Pliocene Epoch, which had a similar level of CO2 in the atmosphere. The level of global warming then was 3 Celsius - & the only reason we haven't got that is because of the cooling aerosols (e.g., PM10s & PM2.5s) in our atmosphere, due to be removed by clear-air legislation. Their removal will cause OUR global warming to double.
