Alito is required to recuse under 28 USC 455 where his impartiality could reasonably be questioned. My research shows that a sitting judge can be disbarred. I presume he still has a #NJ license. Americans, we are going to stay on him like a bloodhound. #Treasury tax audit now. Find the bribes.

TL,DR: seems Alito doesn’t need his law degree to serve of the Supreme Court. I don’t think disbarring him would disqualify him (unfortunately).
IANAL but my recollection, just confirmed with some searching, is a law license is not required by the Constitution for a Justice. However, 10 years of practicing law is a requirement for nomination.
Not sure how you square both of those requirements these days. Looks like it’s a carryover from the early days of the Court.
@skykiss I would respect the Dems more if they moved to impeach Alito. And then Thomas. I don't care if he is not convicted, we need to put it on record that this conduct is not acceptable.
And even if the impeachment doesn't stick Alito needs to be indicted. And I would assume there is a trail of evidence that Thomas and more were in on it.
Meanwhile I'd love to know what the 12th Amendment challenge is. Read it, it's very clear...

Last I heard her 12th Amendment theory rested entirely on bringing the fake and criminally concocted slate of electors to bare. It's clear she is completely unrepentant and doubling down on it even after being convicted for her part in it.
