🤔 Is there a way to embed a #Peertube player into #Wordpress similar to a Youtube player? In terms of auto-adjusting the width of the player to the screen size etc.?
Je passe de plus en plus de temps sur Peertube. Ou du moins je trouve plein de choses intéressantes.
Par contre quand je télécharge quelques vidéos je dois les réencoder car il y a parfois des problèmes d'affichage ou encore le temps qui ne s'affiche pas correctement. Un détail.

@wjmaggos The German Public Broadcasting Services do have their own Mastodon Server, but they basically just use it as an overpowered RSS feed. No interaction or whatsoever.
I assume it's cause we're not a big enough audience yet but this kinda independence is pretty basic to their missions. they should be leading the revolution. and could if they did it together.

Today in Dwarf Fortress: The Sinister Start in the Plane of Myth, were gonna stream the setting up of some tree and obsidian farms.
My next goal is to get a cheap and easy supply of wood going for my fort. Wandering outside is too risky due to the smelly goo threatening to send my fortress into a tantrum spiral. So we're heading underground to set up a tree farm. It's a real pain to set this up but it will be worth it.

What if, when seeing posts from different services, each service had a UI according to the kind of service it is?
A pixelfed video is normally not the same as a peertube video, so it would make sense to see each post via a UI adapted to it. Maybe even add some indication about which kind of service the post is coming from (something that indicates “this is a mastodon post” in a clean way), or add filters/tabs per serv. (…)
@gianclgar this is highly dependent on each project. I think you're pretty much asking for Mastodon to embed the video as seen on the remote server instead of fetching it.

I keep sending them outside to build the outside fort and they are getting fed up. But not to worry, I finished the roof so now they con complete their work in a smelly goo-free environment. Or, at least until I decide to build the fishing hut.
I'm still on the call with the group troubleshooting this thing. We're finding out who we need to page but we also have to give them the correct information when we page them so yeah this is going to take a while. 😭
I'll probably have to resume the stream tomorrow morning. I don't think I'll be free from this anytime soon.
The call ended a bit after my last post, but we had dinner and watched some RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9. This is going to be a fun season.
Now, I'm tired. I made the bed and I think I'm going to lie in it pretty soon.
This weekend I'm going to shoot for having the long-awaited technical stream. I need to create a build script for my web dev project so I have to figure that out. Then, I can start writing the front end code. ♥️
Today on Dwarf Fortress: The Sinister Start in the Plane of Myth, we hit magma! We're producing green glass and are working towards kicking off our steel industry. Just in time, too, because we're now a County and the Count wants fancy rooms! I hope he likes steel walls.
We're upgrading our fortress defenses and will be building an above-ground fort pretty soon, provided the smelly goo doesn't drive everyone mad!
