I came home so happy! After more than 4 weeks of hellish pain (long waiting times), I had my appointment at the radiology clinic. And the diagnosis enables my physiotherapist to start the therapy tomorrow. Yeah!

"Ténosynovite du tendon etc." = Tenosynovitis of the tendon, or as we say in Alsatian: "Dunderwadelnochmohliger rossbollemäßig drecksseckeliger granadener grattel-di-wand-nuff Mischdhüffe-Schmarz" (untranslatable for 💩 pain).

Deutsche Zack-Zack-Ordnung gewohnt, fühlt es sich für mich komisch an, wenn ich in Frankreich bei der geheimen Wahl die Stimmzettel der Parteien von einem Tisch nehmen muss, an dem ich alle Wahlhelfer*innen kenne und die mich: "Was die wohl jetzt nimmt!?"

Also eine Auswahl der schlimmsten Extremisten aller gegensätzlichen Seiten genommen und nonchalant unauffällig, was ich wirklich wähle. Die Extremisten mit Wohlbehagen in der Kabine in den Papierkorb geknüllt.

Das gilt auch für privat, in Social media. Wer angezeigt wird, zahlt dicke Strafen.
Ein Grund, warum wir heute abend recht früh an ausländischen Medien hängen: die dürfen das! Fr. Accounts reden dann drüber, als sei es ein Gerücht, so bleibt's legal. 😎

Today I was as guest in our heritage centre. We hosted the Clothing Swap Club "Pomme Fripes" https://www.facebook.com/DNAlsace/videos/1370049143886906/
You bring 6 pieces and can take until 6, so I found a summer dress and 3 shirts in a gaudy jungle design (never had these colours before). 😂

It was a pleasure to experience the organiser's enthusiasm. She charmingly inspires people to take a more sustainable approach to fashion. Shopping at her pop-up events is pure fun!

Last minute poster for our cultural heritage centre. Today we are hosting Pomme Fripe, a #secondHand swap ring. You bring 6 items of #clothing and can take just as many with you. It occurred to me that this could be exactly my target audience for #VisibleMending!

Unfortunately, I often hear people say: ‘You're ahead of your time’. That's how backward this area is sometimes! #FastFashion is a big problem, often people laugh about me because I repair clothes. 🙄 Too many would never do it.
