As I mentioned recently, I have noticed the rather severe lack of sports related feeds here on Mastodon. So, I decided to start my own. First up is an NFL instance to follow all the NFL news of the day. Soon I hope to add an instance for NCAA football and possibly others. I have an account with Nord VPN and just signed up for Proton Unlimited which includes Proton VPN. Any thoughts on which VPN service is better? Any use case for two VPNs?

@cliffwade @protonprivacy Thanks Cliff, I know my Nord account only covers 5 devices. Do you know how many devices are covered by Proton? Technically I have more than 5 devices although all do not require a VPN.

I generally despise excuses and the one that gets under my skin the most is “I didn’t have time”. All it means is, I didn’t make time for that particularar task. Time is not infinite but it’s fluid, it’s all about carving out little pieces.

It's the last day of the weekend, so let's all talk about what we have on the agenda for the day today.

I'll be mowing at least 3 out of the 4 lawns we normally mow, and very possibly all 4 of them depending on my one neighbor.

After that, it'll just be resting and relaxing as it's also going to be about 82F here today.

@cliffwade Nice! I was a braves fan long before they were any good. I remember sneaking a transistor radio to high school in my pocket and running an earpiece under my shirt so that I could listen to the games in class. Maybe that’s why I turned out old and dumb. 🤣🤣🤣

Work stuff here as usual for me with just one normal meeting today at 12pm. Nothing crazy like yesterday.

Can I get some GOOD VIBES my way today, please?

While I can't go into details publicly quite yet, I have a MAJOR work meeting at 1:30pm today with one of the Regional Vice Presidents of our company today. It's not a bad meeting, but it's a VERY IMPORTANT meeting in my career and I'm beyond nervous to say the least.

It's scheduled to be 45 minutes long, and I feel like this could be the longest 45 minutes of my life!

As my profile says, I'm just an old retired out exploring this new-to-me thing called the Fediverse. I consider myself a geek but a bit of an odd one in that I do love all things computer and technology related but am not into the usual comic book, sci-fi, video game, etc. activities often associated with geekdom. My other interests are antiques, collectibles, resellng, and photography. Other than that, feel free to ask as I am an open book. Oh, I also like the movie War Games :-)
