New Johnny Cash album coming out next month, it's based on these unreleased demos he did in 1993. Apparently they kept his vocal and guitar and some guys that used to play with him filled in the rest. It sounds GOOD, man.

Went out to have a couple drinks tonight with some of wifey's coworkers at this place called the Beer Research Institute, a taproom and arcade. Cool place. Had a couple local IPAs, some of the best nachos I've ever had, nice staff, music was great. I mean they were playing stuff like Descendents, Bad Religion, Misfits, wow. Wasn't expecting it. If you're ever in Phoenix area Arizona, I highly recommend the BRI.

Impromptu garage sale this morning because the neighborhood is doing one. I always have extra stuff. It's been non stop for an hour. Garage sales are multiple wins. You sit or stand at your own house, people come to you and give you money for stuff you don't even want. The best. 😂

Just finished checking out the new Shellac a day early. It's pretty wild (because of course it is). It's not lost on me that the final song is "I Don't Fear Hell", which is a pretty fuckin badass way to go out. If there is a Hell, I would hope the late Steve Albini isn't there now. And I figure if there is one, he's probably not.

Happy 23rd anniversary to Weezer's green album, released today (May 15) in 2001. Man, did I listen to this album a lot, and I still can. Might be my favorite Weezer record but I hate the last song - luckily it's last and I can just turn it off when it comes on. 😂
