@WillA763 @RickiTarr every month, the amount of time i spend doing the work, increases. the ‘apps’ medical providers want us to use have glitches. one office isn’t even uploading my information. i assumed notifying the office of my phone # change that this info would also go to both of my providers. NOPE. there’s not a real office it’s all outsourced. the walgreens app is awful and screwed things up countless times. and i can no longer go to kroger since cigna booted them.

Y'all want to hear a fact that really changed the way I thought about homelessness?

Half of all homeless people were in the foster system at some point. Social Workers often call the foster system The Highway to Homelessness. If you ever had a point in your life where you had to live with friends or family to for a short time to get back on your feet, remember that is a privilege that not everyone had.

    @StillIRise1963 sorry, this wasn’t treated as a typical copay situation, sadly. they also removed polyps. it was the full endoscopy and also upper GI (as a special bonus 😭) i keep getting updated statements and don’t seem to have a final number yet. so much processing. they charged so much for the anesthesia alone. i may just post this current statement later today because it’s nuts.

    @RickiTarr i remember around 2008, an acquaintance was having a hard time between jobs, proud of himself for subsisting on peanut butter and crackers, insisting that he won’t take a ‘government handout’. 😑 it’s money he paid for in taxes, not a ‘handout’ - he was having none of it.
