@skaly Of course, it would be rude to dismiss your feelings and the feelings of the woman you talked to. At the same time, for analogous but much more compelling reasons, are we sure that we don't risk to be rude to people in the Gaza strip if we make the current events about ourselves, while they are experiencing ordeals that go beyong our imagination? And if any of us were in their situation, wouldn't we appreciate something that could potentially save our lives?

@Ruth_Mottram The thing I find the funniest is that I can personally do something good about climate change while spending less money and being better off. Keeping a lower temperature in my house, using a bicycles and transit instead of cars, eating more fresh fruits and vegetables and less meat... All these things are actually good for me and make me save money

Fair, I mean, that's fair... But I've got an idea. Ok, I know that it may sound crazy but hear me out:

The expense of energy, time and emotions that you have at every single election is caused by the electoral system of your State, so if all of you focus on the cause of the problem as much as on the effects, then you can fix this for good, right?
