Let’s not act as if it’s normal for the House Speaker* to refuse to allow a vote on critical national-security legislation that has passed in the Senate by a lopsided bipartisan margin of 70-29. Surely he must let the House vote.

It's not just Mike Johnson. Since September 2016, the whole GOP has been working for a foreign enemy.

McConnell knowingly helped Russia attack our election. Trump fired the FBI Director to block a national security investigation. Giuliani ordered a mob hit on a US ambassador. Ron Johnson knowingly collected disinfo from a Kremlin agent. Barr weaponized that disinfo to imprison US national security officials.

When will we stop pretending this is normal?

Every time someone says "I'm not going to vote," or "I'm voting third-party," they're saying "I don't care if pregnant women are denied medical care. I don't care if they're forced to suffer, bleeding and in pain, for 19 hours. I don't care if they're forced to miscarry alone on a toilet, and then they get ARRESTED AND PROSECUTED. I don't give a shit."

They are saying that to you, and you should respond accordingly.

The GOP refuses to allow US Border Patrol agents to patrol the border in Texas. They just forced a woman and two children to die there.

The official Texas GOP platform says "We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential Election, and we hold that acting President Joseph
Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States."

If someone says they're not voting, they're saying they're okay with this.

Why did Trump do it? What did he get in return?

Florida Republicans just enacted a new law that allows doctors and insurers to refuse any and all medical care to LGBTQ people, any time they feel like it.

When someone says "I'm not going to vote, because both parties are the same," they are saying "I don't care if LGBTQ people are not even allowed to have health care. That doesn't matter to me."

The Palestinian Prime Minister has resigned. This was the result of pressure, from the Administration and Arab countries, to reform the PA into an entity that can govern an independent Palestinian state.

's position, in contrast, is to support Netanyahu's demand that there must never be a Palestinian state, because Palestinians are savages and should be exterminated.

Anyone who says they're pro-, but won't vote for Biden, is full of shit.

SCOTUS did NOT require Alabama to show favoritism toward Black residents. What actually happened was, SCOTUS upheld a decision that requires Alabama to change its racist gerrymandering, which discriminates against Black residents.

A 10-year-old girl was raped and impregnanted. The Ohio GOP forced her to carry her rapist's baby. So, she had to travel to Indiana, where abortion was legal.

The Indiana GOP doxxed, harassed, and attacked the doctor who may have saved the little girl's life.

When someone says "I hate the Dems, I refuse to vote," they're saying "I don't give a shit if 10-year-old girls are raped and forced to carry their rapist's baby. That doesn't matter to me."

Mitch McConnell and 177 other congressional Republicans just signed a brief asking the Supreme Court to keep Trump on the Colorado ballot.

There's a myth that McConnell doesn't like Trump. It's bullshit. McConnell would literally die for Trump if necessary. And so would almost every other elected Republican.

There is no such thing as a "moderate" or "non-insurrectionist" member of a revolutionary fascist party.

If we had only just been willing to get off our couches and vote, just one time, in 2016, we'd now have the first majority Dem-appointed SCOTUS since 1969.

Roe would be intact. Citizens United would probably be overturned by now. The whole future of humanity would be different.

I've heard from 2 college students who went to events that were billed as "student rallies" ("for peace" and "supporting ," respectively), but turned out to be led by violent radicals who weren't affiliated with their schools.

This "United for " march at was organized by 3 right-wing Christian nationalist extremists who are not Israeli, not Jewish, and not Columbia-affiliated.

We're all being played. Think about who gains from this. They are destroying us.

What Rep. Turner of the GOP may not know is that when you tell your enemy that you know about their super secret project, they can then go look for who told you. See, super secret stuff is super secret for a reason. My question for Mr. Turner and the whole GOP in Congress is — was that knowledge classified, did he leak it, and is that a crime? He may have compromised sources by disclosing this.

Exactly. Rep. Turner demanded that the US make all of its classified intelligence about the Russian threat public, before he even knew what the intelligence was.

He did that because the Republican Party is working for Russia. And, obviously, Russia doesn't want the US government to be able to keep secrets about Russia.

I never would have dreamed that a foreign enemy would take over the US government, and we'd all just sort of pretend it's not happening.
