This Washington Post headline is false, and it's disgusting.

SCOTUS did NOT require Alabama to show favoritism toward Black residents. What actually happened was, SCOTUS upheld a decision that requires Alabama to change its racist gerrymandering, which discriminates against Black residents.

Please don't support journalistic malpractice like this. If you have a WaPo subscription, please consider canceling it.

Disney's "Strange World" is an animated film for kids, about a family of explorers who journey to a mysterious subterranean land.

A fifth-grade teacher showed it to her Earth Science class as a teaching aid. Now she's being investigated by the state. Because the movie happens to contain a gay character. And, in , the have made it illegal for anyone to be gay. Even animated characters.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid the Pro-Republican Left will be far more damaging in 2024 than they were in 2020.

Their representation in government continues to increase. Their propaganda now seems more coordinated, and more far-reaching. Both the political press and the entertainment industry enthusiastically amplify their lies. Cornel West will be a far more effective partner for Trump than Jill Stein was.

This is weird.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) was apparently caught on camera pulling a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building. He may have been trying to prevent the vote on the CR. His spokesperson admits it was him, but says he didn't trigger the alarm intentionally.

Bowman is part of the House's pro-Republican leftist extremist contingent. And he's a member of , a lunatic leftist fringe group that supports Putin's genocide in Ukraine.

Mitch McConnell and 177 other congressional Republicans just signed a brief asking the Supreme Court to keep Trump on the Colorado ballot.

There's a myth that McConnell doesn't like Trump. It's bullshit. McConnell would literally die for Trump if necessary. And so would almost every other elected Republican.

There is no such thing as a "moderate" or "non-insurrectionist" member of a revolutionary fascist party.

Florida Republicans just enacted a new law that allows doctors and insurers to refuse any and all medical care to LGBTQ people, any time they feel like it.

When someone says "I'm not going to vote, because both parties are the same," they are saying "I don't care if LGBTQ people are not even allowed to have health care. That doesn't matter to me."

Saudi Arabia still wants to pursue an agreement with Israel, after this war is over.

Hamas started this war in the first place because they wanted to disrupt the Israel-Saudi agreement. So, I guess Hamas is incentivized to make the war go on forever. And, unfortunately, so is Netanyahu. Because, if and when the war ends, the Israelis will likely hold him accountable for his disastrous failures. And he may go to prison.

As I suspected, don't actually exist.

There's a website that sells three kinds of Trump sneakers, Trump cologne, and Trump perfume. But none of those items currently exists.

You have to pay in full, in advance, and no refunds will be offered. The "expected shipping dates" for the items start in June. The site says that the photos on the site are only approximations, and the actual items that you receive may differ.

The Palestinian Prime Minister has resigned. This was the result of pressure, from the Administration and Arab countries, to reform the PA into an entity that can govern an independent Palestinian state.

's position, in contrast, is to support Netanyahu's demand that there must never be a Palestinian state, because Palestinians are savages and should be exterminated.

Republicans are demanding the resignation of Chair Ronna McDaniel, because, they say, she is insufficiently loyal to the GOP's fascist revolution. This is a woman who literally CHANGED HER OWN NAME just to avoid hurting Donald Trump's feelings.

Her supposed "acts of disloyalty" include allowing GOP presidential primary debates to occur, and placing Trump's name last on an alphabetically sorted list of candidates on one occasion.

I think 45% is poorly predictive, because it's an artifact of disordered thinking. If Trump is convicted, most of the 45% would vote for him anyway, because, in their minds, he wasn’t truly convicted in a court of law. They’ll see the conviction as a cruel insult inflicted illegitimately by one Black woman and a jury of DC residents who, they’ll believe, are probably "woke" too.

Nevertheless, 45% is massive. If even 15% withhold their votes, that should be enough to swing the election to Biden.
