drahardja,
ianRobinson, I finally watched the Marques Brownlee review of the Humane AI pin.
It’s not as brutal as I was expecting. Pretty even handed.
All the things he says it’s good at I could do with my Apple Watch. Even more so if Apple gives Siri an upgrade this year.
sdarlington, @ianRobinson Most of the ire was for the click-bait headline, I think. (And even that wasn't completely unfair.)
ianRobinson, @sdarlington Views pay the bills!
drahardja, This is a devastating—and IMO devastatingly accurate—description of what happened at #Humane. A combination of hubris and VC-driven dynamics drove the team to launch a terrible product. The whole essay is worth a read, and every paragraph rings true.

WarnerCrocker, It’s an Autumn Sunday morning. That means there’s Sunday Morning Reading to share.
There’s a real mix this week from con artists to cruelty, from the political and the cultural to famous fart jokesters and a bit of tech thrown in for good measure.
Featuring writings from @Onmyom on the AI Pin and @natania among others.
