@Sidneys1 sorry - I meant in the GitHub for Lemmy. I’ve seen a few people wish for link previews, but there is no request for that in the Lemmy GitHub issues

@jerry oh, haha. I was hoping Mastodon would generate a preview for the GitHub link, sometimes it takes a while.

@Sidneys1 yeah, link previews are created by the Sidekiq batch processors. I do not know why they take so long - we have two 16 core servers dedicated to doing that job
