Here is our attempt to be totally up-to-date. #Galastrad has been out for only few days. To be on top of recent development, we even shifted our regular schedule. Good thing that you're subscribed to our RSS feed, so you've caught this unusual Tuesday addition!
The Octopia expansion to #Eastward is such a wonderful little escape. It's just the perfect speed for me right now. I love all the little qol choices (your watering can never runs out of water! when the day ends, you still can move around your home and kitchen, so you never run out of time to cook/eat!) as well as the time and story to spend with these characters in another timeline. 💚 #IndieGaming
Over the last few weeks, I played Beglitched, an indie game available on itch.io that was part of a few bundles over the last few years.
It's still part of the puzzle game batch I downloaded a while back and I quite liked its puzzle aspects!! I also enjoyed its visual style - pixely and pink! :D Also I'm a sucker for anything with hackers in it. The way the story ramped up was fun too. At the beginning I was like, ah yeah, some casual dialogue, can't be JUST puzzles huh?? But towards the end it grew quite captivating, ahhh.
I played it in many shorter rounds because I got a bit frustrated after a few failed attempts. But after recovering my patience, I really wanted to continue and crack the current puzzle!!
After BG3, I really need a few small (1-4 hour) indie games before I get into Starfield. I like most genres, but I'm not that into crafting, framing, or busy work. Any new or old gems you'd recommend? #indiegaming
@cmicmuir it looks crazy beautiful... Unfortunately, jrpg combat is something I keep trying but can't get into. The battle system menus are a lot for me... I do love turn-based on a grid though. I'll probably watch someone play it a bunch lol #PCgaming
I tend to recommend a bunch of old classics over and over again when talking about games that are good for older PCs, laptops, and such... but there are loads of recent indie games that play amazingly well on low-spec machines. What modern games do you think are good for this? https://youtube.com/shorts/FTRHUambM2c #indiegaming#laptopgaming
anyone spending too much of their life on a good rogue-like right now? finished off the achievements on Slay the Spire recently, casting about for something new #indiegaming#videogames#roguelike
@alsothings I haven't tried Slay the Spire but it looks good - I'm a big roguelike fan. My favorites are Wizodd, Demon's Tier+, Bit Dungeon Plus, Quest of Dungeons, Colt Canyon- I've also heard good things about Nuclear Throne, need to try that one.
