I would really like it if I could buy combined train-flight trips that have the same privileges as multi-leg flight trips - that is, if I miss the connecting flight due to a delayed train, I’ll just get booked on the next flight without fuss or having to buy a whole new flight ticket.
I’d like that, because I’d very much like to avoid short-haul flights such as BER-FRA, but as it is, the likelihood of having to buy a new last-minute flight ticket is pretty high.
