@GottaLaff I honestly believe that Bannon, Miller and others are egging him on.
This is important not because it excuses Trump at all--it doesn't and it's not my point--but because there are MANY people in the highest ranks of the GOP idolizing Hitler.
@GottaLaff@Nona1 He is ignorant and incurious, but has a razor sharp instinct for getting what he wants. It's not intelligence. He is not self-aware in the slightest. More like a collection of interlocking behaviors he repeats because they have worked in the past.

@GottaLaff I think it's a mistake constantly pulling Adolf Hitler into the present day political discourse. Perhaps the intention is to induce disgust at Trump's (and others') statements, and to prove Trump is a fascist, but I fear the effect is exactly the opposite: It creates a sentiment that "Hitler wasn't so bad, he was like Trump, and I like him! And what they say about him with Holocaust and all is just fake news".
@mok0 Pulling Hitler into it? HE’s doing that. He quotes him, uses his language, and admits to dictatorship goals. Call it what it is. We’ve ignored it for too long.

We gotta be living in some kind of stupid simulation and the observers are waiting to see how we react this time. There is no way the democratic party can be this much of a total fucking failure at capturing the vote while a literal Hitler impersonator is running for office again. The human race cannot possibly be this asleep at the wheel while the entire planet dutifully eats shit to keep psychopaths rich. Unbeknownst to them. There’s no way the entire thing is this fucked.
@GottaLaff One thing a power monger craves is more power and when an opportunity presents itself to take it all it does and it never stops.Some will rue the day when this happens.
@GottaLaff this Reagan speech is a decent illustration of past republican positions on immigration and a good counterpoint to trump’s vile vomit. Reagan was no saint, but he at least feigned respect for humanity.
