You want to know why Trump will never be charged for any of his crimes?

Because that will establish a pattern of holding rich people responsible for their criminal behavior. And the powers that be cannot abide something like that.

But you liberals just keep on insisting it's finally his "fuck around and find out" moment.

Bless your hearts.

It's interesting to look at this: Trump has been charged, but not for his rich-person crimes. He's been charged for stuff that sets a precedent that can be used against others. Document theft, for example, is something that Snowden and Manning and conscientious people like that did before him. Insurrection is something that PoC and Leftists did in the summer of 2020, back when the MAGA crowd were still ardently against raising their hand against cops. This is the stuff that's being charged.

All the financial crimes, the real estate fraud, the dark-money stuff, the links to people like Epstein? That's not being charged.

@passenger Wow. I didn't think about that.

Just like questioning the integrity of our elections got turned into a right-wing thing as soon as we started saying "Hey, wait a damn minute" about the shenanigans in the 2016 primary.

Any rebellious action needs to be associated with Bad People doing things badly, so the liberals will enthusiastically support "anti-insurrection" legislation they think is supposed to stop more Jan 6th shit but instead will be mainly used to suppress dissent on the left.

@passenger He's never been charged with rape, either. Because rapists never are.

@passenger
Trump was not only charged with real estate fraud in NY, but he's already been found guilty in that case, and the judge is determining the penalty. The DA is seeking $370M and a lifetime ban on doing business in New York.
