FYI: The reason I sometimes boost the kind words you send me is not to pat myself on the back, but to let people know why I’m here: To bring you news that’s legit and cut through some of the BS.
When others validate that, it keeps me going when some of the more irritating elements of Mastodon make me want to walk away.

@GottaLaff I've learned more from listening than arguing, so when people choose to extend kindness, I take it right in...not as universal truth, but as something someone offers who wants to spread kindness. Sometimes they are correct even in my harsh expectations of myself (smiling). Sometimes, they're dead wrong and I'm still grateful. lol!! @GottaLaff Thank you - I couldn't agree more! Biden has been too slow to turn around on Gaza and realize that Bibi doesn't give a rat's ass what the US thinks. Bibi is responsible, not Biden. If voters walk away from Biden because they are angry, every single person who loves democracy, and the country, will be subject to a Totalitarian Trump regime.

I just ordered #Dr RachelBitecofer's book, "Hit 'Em Where It Hurts" bc I totally agree with her. #Dems are too worried about being "nice." #Dem party needs to be on a "#war footing" bc, otherwise, we'll be in real #POW concentration camps when the #GQP_GOP take over.
