@flexghost you would think they would at least ask themselves why it's not working, because quite frankly I don't know many people whose minds are being controlled by chemtrails, but fox news, the Murdoch media empire and all of those billionaire media owners seem to be doing a better job than those fucking bullshit chemtrails...

Hmm, never believed the chem trail conspiracy theory. I also never believed the Al Gore types screaming we were all going to die. Climate change is real, but the truth is humanity has precious little control over it. Conservation I am all for, but spreading fear and panic and impoverishing the middle classes of the world I oppose.
@flexghost soooo, let me understand. If the chemtrails appear over a different state, are they prohibited from drifting into Tennessee? Since those trails are just ice in the upper atmosphere, does this also mean eliminating bags of ice for sale at every gas station and convenience store? What about home ice makers? What about ice transported from other states?

For over 40 years, I've noted how I DEPLORE #CONSPIRACY THEORIES. It's insane nut-baggery where zealots see "puppeteers" behind everything from "Fluoridation" to Moon Landing.
They are impervious to Facts and no amount of proof can change their minds.
And then this country elects a #ConspiracyNut who spends night dreaming up wild "#DeepState" rationalizations to explain away his failures & prosecution for crimes he has CONFESSED TO ("Those #ClassifiedDocs were MINE!")

heck, they didn't like them WWII where the contrails from the bombers basically said "attack here" to the German air force . The Germans and RAF left them over London during the Battle of Britain.
Read somewhere that to deliver something this way needs an ocean going liner sized aircraft.

A whole lot of jobs could be created checking for chemical agents and certifying planes as "chemtrail free".
Heck, they might actually have to create and test chemtrails to study the difference.

Sarcasm aside, I loathe bad legislation.
I haven't looked up the bill but laws generally work best when they're specific. Anything that's overly broad is easy to abuse and build a corrupt boutique industry around.
I'll probably check out the bill, I'm curious how they define chemtrail, I've seen many different (sometimes exclusive) definitions.
It could actually be a ban on activities like cloud seeding, and other weather manipulation technologies which would be interesting.

@flexghost Side-effect of any "chemtrail" law: betcha when they ban all chemical emissions from aircraft they forget to include a get-out clause for crop dusters and fire bombers.

But their constituents will blindly praise them for it at every turn.

@flexghost we got some of the stupidest damn politicians in the country here in Tennessee. Outside the metros you can't even find a Dem on the ballot to vote for. It's disheartening to say the least.

@pomnik_psa@flexghost Yeah, I'm aware of what they claim was their reason for blocking them. It doesn't change the fact that they blocked it for bullshit reasons, among which were the fears I mentioned.
That just shows they were at least smart enough to know they would be lampooned for the rest of eternity if they hadn't made it at least seem more reasonable.

(Pizza is a type of flatbread/unleavened bread. And children are ritually abused or murdered in secret according to the blood libel. The Qanon thing just updates it into an anti-semitic dog-whistle rather than saying the quiet part out loud.)
