I have flyered my neighborhood, and posted on Nextdoor, Facebook, and Craigslist. I have been to the local animal shelter to see if he's there and placed a flyer in their lost pets binder. I've walked around the neighborhood multiple times calling him. I'm trying to hold out hope.
@MLE_online when this happened to me, my cat had spent a long weekend locked in a neighbours garage while they were away on holiday. Sooo glad you got hobie back!
@MLE_online I'm so sorry to hear this. Breaks my heart too. Just went through this with Seamus. It's so hard not knowing.
Cats sometimes do a walk about. I really really hope that's the case and he shows up soon.
@HackAWeek I do hope he's just stuck in a garage or got scared by something and is hiding somewhere, but every day that passes without him gives me less and less hope
@MLE_online Can ask neighbors to check their sheds, garages etc. Even if they're sure, ask to actually check, or leave it open. That's what happened to a cat I had years ago.
@Pikestreet I'm afraid that's what's happened to him. But this isn't the kind of neighborhood where people know each other. I've asked my immediate neighbors, and I've asked them to keep an eye out, but there are so so many apartments and condos right here
