MartinVeart, 25 days ago @yunod I am seriously considering solar panels. What advice would you give?

yunod, 25 days ago @MartinVeart Make sure you get a battery and also a way to heat water using solar! You don't get much for exporting power back to the grid, so you want to store it instead and use it in the evening.

MartinVeart, 25 days ago @yunod thank you! Heating water is a big thing. Sometimes I am torn between PV and a thermal solar system.

yunod, 25 days ago @MartinVeart Yes I was the same. Even though I went for PV in the end, there are definite benefits to the solar thermal option. There's also PV-T, although I think it's much more expensive. https://blog.renewableheat.com/home_heating_game_changer
