"...But at a campaign rally for presumptive Republican presidential nominee" <redacted> "in Phoenix, 11 people fell ill from heat exhaustion by late afternoon and were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released, fire officials said."
…and I’ve gotten another 3 (or has it been 4?) alerts today, all for the same heat warning that starts at 10am tomorrow, which I’ve know about for several days now since they won’t stop sending these damn things.
And I just noticed that in the official heat warning, under the Urgency heading, it simple says to “take action with next hour.”
Not great for the people there, but on the plus side, my mapping software showed clear structure impact this morning and I wondered about that! #SimmonsFire#AZwx

Person in an RV on the I-40 in Arizona. (a great chunk which is closed). What are the odds they end up stuck or in a snowbank today? 😬 #snow#AZwx#traffic
Ha, it was better to be on the Southwest Chief this morning than on the I-40, Amtrak sailed on through Flagstaff without any issues, while truckers are stuck on the I-40 still. #AZwx#Arizona#Amtrak
Truckers from last night are still stuck near Ash Fork, AZ on the I-40. They've been there all night (with the lights on). #stranded#AZwx#Arizona#travel
