basically this is only half true. Ash can register heat and pressure changes, inside the ship and outside, her skin/hull is basically a living biorganic metal fungi. An unexpected byproduct of the genetic research on making Talithi & Humans compatible with each other or at least, let them live in one room together, without intoxicating the other to death, so far at least the group Samaras Tears can report baby steps.
It was supposed to be a 850 word (hashtag)Writever for the "Inking" prompt. The main story is already at 1,200 words as the situation progresses into "this may not end well" territory. Now just wrote 650 words of notes from my daydreaming in bed this morning. Have to ensure I won't forget the various beats in what I haven't yet written.
Not sure I'm how I feel writing a magical world #fantasy with #romance and mildly erotic almost SFW elements. Breaking into "hot" new territory with this one. Kind of out of my comfort zone.
I know an erotic romance author, though. Now I'll have a work to discuss with her and can feel like a genuine author when we next talk.
An important element I didn't mention, especially as to why the story got enbiggened: I've spoken how terribly #shy I am. It affects my ability to communicate with people I don't know, or more critically, people I don't feel I have permission to interact with, or people for whom I feel I might be wasting their time. I was raised to be seen, not heard, and to be a "pleaser" not "needy."
The main character in this story has my type of shyness. This is the first time I'll be writing about someone like me. My strategies for coping with my #disability beyond the compounding aspects of being somewhat #autistic is a point plot point. (She will be a bit more brave than I, but her [spoilers] background makes that understandable.)
Cool movie idea: An android that writes the code that runs on it itself (by sitting down in front of a computer and really writing the code). This would open up opportunities for huge character development!
