Each year I send a special postcard to the patrons of my Patreon on the top two tiers. It always features a photo I've taken on my travels, with a descriptive message on the back.
This year's was of the Vestibule within the old town at Split, Croatia. The day I took this shot, the space was full of beautful music courtesy of an a cappella group singing klapa, traditional songs from Dalmatia.
Look, the song was OK, if nothing special, but coming a tight second in the televote (only just losing to #Croatia), and gaining the number one vote in countries like Finland is just really suspect.
I don’t necessarily mean bot votes, though it wouldn’t surprise me, but at least an orchestrated pro-Israel campaign.

Aus Zagreb wieder rauszufahren war bedeutend einfacher und entspannter als der Weg in die Stadt im gestrigen Stossverkehr. Zuerst durch das Labyrinth der Wohnviertel, dann etwas, das mit seinen Glashäusern und diversen Gewerbebauten an Simmering erinnert und dann auf einem vorbildlichen Radweg ins Umland. Ab hier ist es vorbei mit der radfahrerischen Anarchie, es kehrt wieder geordnetes Landleben ein. #Croatia 🇭🇷 Day 5.1! #Waterfall galore at #KrkaNationalPark! A brief boat cruise, stunning views, nice paths to walk on with kids. It was a lot of people, can’t even begin to imagine how it is in high season…😁 Kids were having a blast seeing such a big waterfall for the first time!🥰
