Last #eurovision thoughts of the season. #france should have won - a better song and better sung. #norway deserved more points. #unitedkingdom tried to make up for a so-so ditty with incredible staging, but I'm not sure the sweaty-sexy side of it worked well (but it could just be that it wasn't aimed at me). #netherlands were missed (the song, anyway, we'll see what has to be said about the singer) #ireland was still my favourite and for bonus points the singer seems to be a nice person too.
#Norway was robbed #unitedkingdom got more points than I expected given their 'lets have a video about gay sex in a toilet.. that'll win them over' idea.
No idea how #greece got points.. generic song, poor set on the night. #croatia won the public vote, and I feel it was the more interesting song.. but the judges disagreed.
The abba thing was absolute cringe. What I thought was impersonators was apparently some kind of AI thing.. but what was that even about? They didn't even sing..
Look, the song was OK, if nothing special, but coming a tight second in the televote (only just losing to #Croatia), and gaining the number one vote in countries like Finland is just really suspect.
I don’t necessarily mean bot votes, though it wouldn’t surprise me, but at least an orchestrated pro-Israel campaign.
Honestly relieved that #Croatia didn't win, that was not a song fit to win #Eurovision.
Congrats to #Switzerland and to #Israel for securing the victory of the televote.
While some privileged idiots were booing the country another hostage was killed by #Hamas, if you want peace, ask it to whom can provide it. This war wouldn't exist if Hamas didn't chose to provoke it and continue it till today.
#eurovision I mean OK but that is quite a rip-off of many rock songs... Sounds like a parody And it's full power, no climax... Nay really not my thing #croatia
