After 2 weeks of testing, #reading, and making my own #handcrafted#3dprinted case. Today I'm reviewing the #kobo Clara BW and Clara Color #ereaders, and seeing if it's better than my existing Nia, and #kindle.
After reading the review of the Onyx BOOX Poke3 by @KelsonV I had a look at the BOOX range and ordered the BOOX Page. Here it is, on the right, next to my Kobo Clara HD.
So far, it has been good. I've installed the Android versions of Libby, Pocket and, yes, Firefox and they work fine. I've adjusted the E Ink refresh rates and button settings for the apps to work correctly.
I have 429 ebooks in Calibre that need organised. I'd really like to NOT have to do it completely by hand. Are there any scripts or programs out there that can take some or all of the work out of the equation?
The micro-USB port on my Kobo Glo HD is loose and now I have to apply pressure to the cable in one direction to get it to charge. How repairable might something like that be? I have a soldering iron and enough tools on hand to pry the thing open, might it be as simple as swapping out the physical USB connector?
